2016-03-05The uninvited sojourner in cosmetic bags

‘There is no ugly woman but only lazy woman in the world.’ I believe that most female usually like to bring their well stocked cosmetic bags with them everywhere they go so that it is convenient for them to make them stay charming. Yet, have you ever thought that inside the bags, there are not only various cosmetic products but also a number of sojourners—bacteria and dirt. Bacteria can cause pimples and even inflammation if serious. As a beauty-wishing person, how can we tolerate millions of bacteria to harm our skin and health? Changing cosmetic bags and products regularly is convenient but not environmental and economic friendly. Thus let us clean our dirty cosmetic bags completely now!

  1. Cosmetic bag (Adopt different cleaning measures according to the material of bags)
      • Cotton bag First clean the stains on the surface of bag with washing powder or alkaline and then filter with clean water. Next, spray JcoNAT disinfectant on it to avoid growth of bacteria completely.
      • Leather bag Soak a piece of wet cleaning rag into little alkaline and wipe the surface of leather with it (*Do not bath the bag in water for a long period of time as it may harm the leather). Then spray JcoNAT on it.
  2. Brush Soak it into warm water. Then press according to the direction to brushing for several times until all dirt is released. Spray JcoNAT on the wet brush to forbid growth of spores or other bacteria.
  3. Puff/ Eyeshadow brush Pat to remove powder remained on puff and then wash the dirt on its surface with washing powder or alkaline. As wet puff breeds bacteria and smell very easily, prevent and stop growth of bacteria with JcoNAT.
  4. Eyelash curler Wipe the pad of eyelash curler with makeup cotton dipped into makeup remover repeatedly until it is clean.
Everyone wants to be pretty. Apart from doing makeup, we also need to clean regularly our cosmetic bag and products. That’s how we can truly live a beautiful and relieved life.

2015-07-21Is hospital a safe or dangerous place?

Hospital is a place that rescues countless life but have you ever imagined how much fatal germs and strong spores does it hold in store? In 2009, Queen Mary Hospital experienced an outbreak of spore infection bred by bacteria in corn flour in drugs and 7 people were killed; in 2015, inappropriate cleaning of clothes in hospital triggered infections of Rhizopus microspores where 2 people died.

Probably you do not know that bacterial spores are harder to be destroyed than germs. General hand washes sold in markets, despite containing alcohol, Chlorhexidine and Triclosan, may not kill bacterial spores effectively while quaternary ammonium compound is relatively weak in destroying spores. Therefore, if you belong to the high risk group in which you work or visit someone in hospitals frequently, you have to be very careful and always wash your hands thoroughly. Moreover, if you wish to damage germs, viruses and bacterial spores quickly and effectively, what will you use? Effective component HOCl in JcoNAT can effectively kill all spores and protect the health of you and me.

2015-05-07The message ‘Kids infected by bacteria in LCSD game centre’ went prevalent in Whatsapp

During holidays, parents like to bring their children to different recreational facilities to enjoy family happiness together. Yet, parents please note that children have weaker immune system and thus they must be aware of maintaining hygiene when going to crowded places. In earlier days, a child hurt his limbs when he was playing in a LCSD centre; on the next day, his legs got red, swollen, pussy blisters appeared and he had fever with body temperature reaching 39oC. The doctor diagnosed that Staphylococcus aureus had entered his blood. Staphylococcus aureus is everywhere to be found in nature including air, water, dust, excrement of human and animals. According to information of Centre for Health Protection, Department of Health, the symptoms are:

  • Infection of skin and soft tissues (like pussy blisters, abscess and infection of wounds)
  • If serious, Sepsis and Pneumonia can be resulted

All parents love their children a lot, please be aware of the personal hygiene of children. What can be done include sterilising clothes and toys of children frequently with JcoNAT disinfectant universal pack, washing hands before having meals and properly treating wounds. Remember to take the correct steps in order to protect your children.
